The city of Baku in Azerbaijan, becomes the newest host of the European Grand Prix, having previously raced in locations such as Valencia, Spain and Nurburgring, Germany. The newly designed race circuit, which will be called the Baku City Circuit, has been designed by legendary F1 circuit designer Hermann Tilke. The street circuit will run along Baku's waterfront promenade and will present an extra challenge to the drivers, by being an anti-clockwise circuit, with 21 corners.
